November is one of the best months to visit Jamaica as the temperature on the island begins to cool down as we get closer to Christmas. Despite the cooler temperatures (mostly at night), the days are still sunny, bright and warm…perfect vacation weather.

How Hot is it in Jamaica in November? (Average Temperature)
Jamaica being a tropical island, means that the temperature doesn’t really fluctuate much throughout the year.
November is still hot, but not as hot as the summer months. You can get an idea of the average temperature across the island below.

How hot it gets also depends on where you are staying on the island. For example, if you’re staying in Montego Bay, which is located on the northwest coast of Jamaica, it will be a little cooler than if you were staying in some of the southern parishes such as St. Elizabeth.

There is a good amount of rain in the month, as it is still the hurricane season. However, it is not as bad as October when hurricanes are generally at their peak.
You can expect some rainy days, but unless a system is over the island, it will usually just be a quick shower in the afternoon. This tends to not last no more than an hour or two.

As we mentioned earlier, November is still technically hurricane season in Jamaica. However, the chances of a hurricane hitting the island are very low.
The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 and ends Nov 30.
